The time has come to revolutionise your Pilates classes again. So many new ideas to make your Pilates sessions more functional, results based and targeted.
This workshop is all about new thinking, new research, new ideas to take Fitness Pilates forward into the future!
Functional anatomy and functional training is now a primary training focus. All the sessions in this workshop will look at Pilates and function from a 3d perspective, improving biomechanics, mobility and flexibility.
3 workshop/workout sessions exploring new ideas taught by Rachel Holmes in a 4 hour workshop. This workshop if for all forward thinking Pilates Instructors wanting to take advantage of new research and information. All Group Exercise Instructors and Personal Trainers are welcome.
Session 1. Functional Futuristic Fitness Pilates 2011
Rachel takes the Fitness Pilates technique deeper into functionality, with new exercises, sequences, progressions and variations. By taking an integrated approach to creating movement patterns Fitness Pilates enables participants to gain ground breaking results. The class examines a whole new approach to teaching Pilates resulting in improved back strength and flexibility, increased hip mobility, less knee, hip and back pain and of course stronger core muscles. A unique session again taking FP forward into the future and beyond!
Session 2. Explosive Fitness Pilates Tabatta style
Advanced, Explosive and bang on trend Rachel teaches an advanced FP utilising many original exercises power style. You will even raise your heart rate in this intense yet controlled and energetic workshop. Rachel also explore Fitness Pilates Bootcamps. How to set up, plan and market a results based Pilates Bootcamp.
Session 3.Free Flowing Fitness Pilates
A softer approach to Fitness Pilates including choreographed sequences standing and on the floor. This session marries music and movement perfectly and includes stretch routines and Yogalates style routines. Concluding with relaxation. meditation and breathing techniques.
